Abstrak :
The
study aims to find out about: 1) Physical readiness of students to participate
in learning geography in high school N 5 Tebo and 2) Psychological readiness of
students to participate in learning geography in high school N 5 Tebo. This type
of research is qualitative. The research was conducted in the school year
2016/2017 half I of the month of July-August 2016 SMA N 5 Tebo. Informants were
taken by purposive sampling, namely teachers that is considered most
knowledgeable about what was expected by the researcher. Data analysis was
carried out by reduction, presentation and draw conclusions. The results
showed: 1) Physical readiness of students to participate in the learning
process of generally good health condition, learners who have sensory
weaknesses are generally less prepared to follow the learning process and
physical readiness can be supported with maintaining health by sleeping
regularly, eating nutritious food and sufficient exercise it can affect the
learning process of learners and 2) Psychological readiness of students to
participate in learning geography in high school N 5 Tebo including good,
learners have a good motivation in learning, students are able to concentrate
during the learning process so that, Has a reaction being able to submit
questions for the teacher at the time of learning and are willing to spend on
teachers' ideas. Readiness to learn the views from the liveliness included
either because students are able to administer parts of the lesson,
comprehension, good enough for a small portion of students who can immediately
understand the material being taught by a teacher in the learning process and
views of the replay, good enough because there are still many students who did
not repeat the subject matter.
