Abstrak :

South Solok is one of the districts in the province of West Sumatra, which has the potential to generate Natural Resources (SDA). In addition to working in the agricultural sector of society is also working on the plantation sector, namely oil palm plantations. Producing region is the famous palm oil palm plantations are in Kanagarian Sangir Abai District of Batang Hari. This study aims to determine the level of family welfare of smallholders in Nagari Abai District of Batang day Sangir South Solok. This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study is the palm oil farmers at Nagari Abai District of Batang Hari Sangir South Solok. SampelResponden in this study were taken by using proportional random sampling with a 25% proportion, the sample of 50 people. Data analysis techniques used formulation percentage. Results of the study include: 1). Subsistence farming families palm Nagari Batang Hari Abai Kecamatan Sangir South Solok seen from food, clothing and shelter. Members of the household food availability palm farming families available enough for their daily needs hari.Ketersediaan clothing / clothing family household family members, enough available to meet the needs of day - day. Type of family home palm oil farmers at Nagari Abai, permanent and 100% completion. 2). Family income of oil palm farmers in Nagari Abai District of Batang Hari Sangir South Solok, the amount of income in a month> Rp 2,000,000 - Rp 3,000,000. 3).
